The President of HIA, Rev Ezekiel Tan, attended the Media Conference of Foreign Domestic Worker Association for Social Support and Training – FAST that was held on 11 November to support their upcoming event on 21 November as one of their partners and sponsors, to celebrate the contributions of the migrant domestic workers (MDWs) in Singapore. Rev Tan was also invited as one of the 3 judges for the Exemplary Migrant Domestic Worker and Employer Award.
The First Migrant Domestic Worker and Employer Appreciation Day event on 21 November aims to celebrate the contributions of our MDWs, and to recognise and promote “Mutual Care & Respect” amongst MDWs and their employers. To find out more about their event, click here.
This is part of our continuation in HIA to show our support and provide care for the MDWs since the Feast of Appreciation in 2019, where we will also soon be launching ADEO, an initiative of HIA, specially organised for the domestic workers.
