Launched in 2019, the Alliance of Guest Workers Outreach (AGWO) aims to be a national aggregator for migrant worker support groups in Singapore.
It rallies over 100 partners, including voluntary welfare organisations, NGOs, dormitories, businesses and religious groups to channel resources and services that benefit guest workers.
Aligning itself with the needs of workers during these pandemic times, AGWO, led by its Chairman, Pastor Samuel Gift Stephen, has distributed more than one million hot meals to workers living in more than 260 factory-converted dormitories (FCDs) since April 2020.
